    Diese Bauten, die man auf dem Foto erkennen kann, waren Orte, wo reisende Personen im osmânischen Reich rasten konnten. Im Komplex befanden sich ein Gebetsraum, Unterrichtsraum und ein Gästehaus.

    Die Osmanen gaben viel Wert auf soche soziale Einrichtungen. Jede Person durfte hier rasten. Diese Bauten nannte man Imâret genannt und wurden zum ersten mal durch Orhan Bey, dem zweiten Sultan der Osmanen im Jahre 1336 erbaut.

    Den Überlieferungen zu Folge, fanden in diesen Imaret manchmal ein Mittags- und Abendessen für tausend Leute statt. Die meisten Besucher waren, Arme, Asylanten, Besucher, islamische Schüler und Kinder ohne Obhut.

    Mittels solcher Einruchten, wurde vorgebeugt, dass sich die Menschen schlechte Eigenschaften, wie z.B. das Klauen oder Rauben aneigneten.
