    Bittgebete rund um den Ramadan und das Fasten:

    Allah ist am Größten, Oh Allah, lasse die Sichel (den Neumond) über uns sichtbar werden, in Sicherheit, im Glauben, im Frieden und Islam und mit dem Einvernehmen dessen, was Dir lieb ist und was Dir gefällt. Unser Herr und euer Herr ist Allah. (At-Tirmidhi)

    Vor dem Fastenbrechen:

    Oh Allah, ich habe für Dich gefastet und mit Deiner Versorgung breche ich mein Fasten. (Abu Dawud)

    Beim Fastenbrechen:

    Abdullah Ibn ~Amr Ibnu-l-As (r.a.) berichtete, dass der Prophet (Friede sei mit ihm) sagte: „Wahrlich hat der Fastende zur Zeit des Fastenbrechens ein Bittgebet, welches nicht zurückgewiesen wird." Ibn Abi Muleikah sagte, dass er Abdullah Ibn ~Umar, als er sein Fasten brach, sprechen hörte:
    Oh Allah, ich bitte Dich mit Deiner Barmherzigkeit, die alle Dinge umfasst, dass Du mir vergibst.

    Wenn man bei jemandem zu Besuch ist und sein Fasten bricht:

    Mögen die Fastenden bei euch das Fasten brechen und mögen die Rechtschaffenen eure Speisen verzehren und mögen die Engel für euch beten! (Abu Dawud)

    Bittgebet in der Leilatul-Qadr:

    Oh Allah! Wahrlich Du bist der Allvergebende, und Du liebst die Vergebung, so vergib mir! (At-Tirmidhi)

    EU losing patience over illegal Israeli settlements: Ambassador

    The EU ambassador in the Israeli-occupied territories has warned that a growing number of EU states are dissuading their citizens from doing business with companies registered in Israeli settlements.

    Ambassador Lars Faaborg-Andersen told a business seminar organized by the Geneva Initiative on Friday that six European nations have already issued warnings to the Israeli regime over expanding construction of settlements beyond the Green Line.

    EU member states "are losing their patience with concerns not being treated [seriously]," by Israel, Lars Faaborg-Andersen said.

    "The EU is more consistently implementing existing policy, and taking further steps to disengage from the settlements," said the ambassador, and warned that in case settlement construction does not stop, even more EU member states will issue an advisory not to do business in the settlements.

    The governments of five of the largest EU economies: Germany, France, Italy and Spain, UK, as well as the Netherlands have urged businessmen nationwide to stop investing into Israeli settlements in eastern al-Quds (Jerusalem), the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights and the occupied West Bank.

    The international community regards all Israeli settlements built on occupied Palestinian land as illegal.

    Over the past decades, Israel has tried to change the demographic makeup of al-Quds by constructing illegal settlements, destroying historical sites, and expelling the local Palestinian population.

    More than half a million Israelis live in over 120 illegal settlements built since Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories 47 years ago.

    Israel occupied and then annexed the West Bank and East al-Quds in the Six-Day War of 1967, but the move has never been recognized by the international community.

    Saudi King Abdullah hints at new shift on Iraq policy : US official

    A US official says Saudi King Abdullah has told US Secretary of State John Kerry to use his influence to encourage Sunni Muslims to join Iraqi government and army against the radical insurgency launched by so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Levant (ISIL).

    Iraq has been dealing with a massive radical insurgency in its northern cities after ISIL militants attacked Mosul and killed thousands of people.

    The multi-national terrorist group which is one of the main forces fighting in the foreign-charged war against Syria has many Saudi members.

    The US State Department official who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the Saudi monarch voiced concern to Kerry about the ISIL insurgents who have overrun much of northern Iraq and its border with Syria and thrust southward, approaching the Saudi frontier.

    "It was clear that the two shared a view that all of Iraq's community should be participating on an urgent basis in the political process to allow it to move forward, and that each - both the Secretary and King Abdullah in their conversations with Iraqi leaders - would convey that message directly to them," the US State Department official told reporters after the talks.

    Saudi Royal family which has already spent millions of dollars to held militant groups overthrow the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, does not favor Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki either.

    Until now Saudi Arabia had been unwilling to support the formation of a new government unless Maliki stepped aside and does not seek a third term.

    But with radical militants now operating close to its border, Saudi Arabia has assured Kerry it will now press Sunni parties to join the new government, appearing more confident that this would undercut Maliki's
