Ca. 4000 Obdachlose und es werden immer mehr. »Du Jüngling, spreche den Namen Allāhs (Bismillāh),
benutze deine Rechte beim Essen,
und iss das, was gerade vor dir ist.«
Seitdem ist das stets zu meiner Essgewohnheit geworden."

Nach einem heftigen Niederschlag ging Hisham ibn Hasan hinter Al-'Alaa ibn Ziyad durch die nassen schlammigen Straßen ihres Dorfes. Er bemerkte, dass Ibn Ziyad all die tückischen Pfützen mied, bis jemand gegen ihn stieß und seine Sandale in die Pfütze rutschte. Gezwungen durch den Schwung, musste Ibn Ziyad durch den unversöhnlichen Schlamm durch, an das andere Ende.
Nachdem sie ihr Ziel erreicht hatten, wandte sich Ibn Ziyad zu Hisham und sagte:
So wie wir all diese Pfützen auf unserem Weg hierher vermieden haben, so soll der Muslim, während seiner gesamten Reise ins Jenseits, den Ungehorsam gegenüber Allah SubHana wa ta'ala vermeiden.
Und so wie die Kraft, die du während dem Fall in die Pfütze sahst, ist das Gleichnis der Sünde, wenn jemand hineinfällt, trägt es ihn tiefer und tiefer.
