    Islamic dress code for MEN

    The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah upon him) said:

    "Whoever guards what is between his two lips and [guards] his private parts will enter paradise." Narrated by Imam Ahmad.

    The Islam instructs both Muslim men and women to dress in a modest way. Some people may do a double take when they learn that Muslim men have a dress code as well. Some men take their dress code lightly. Some think the women's code is more important and thus spend their lives lecturing various women about what to wear and what not to wear. These men need to seriously understand that disobedience to Allah is disobedience to Allah whether you are a man or a woman. Muslim men should cover themselves from the navel to the knees.

    Narrated by 'Ali (R.A): The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Do not show your thigh, and do not look at the thigh of anyone, living or dead."(Abu Dawood (3140) and Ibn Maajah:1460) The majority of fuqaha' are of the view that these ahaadeeth should be followed and they stated that a man's 'awrah is from the navel to the knee. See al-Mughni, 2/284 Most of the scholars say it is authentic and a man should cover navel to knee.

    Silk is haraam for males, because the Prophet (pbuh) said: "These two [gold and silk] are forbidden for the males of my ummah and permissible for the females." Narrated by Ibn Maajah, 3640; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh Ibn Maajah.

    The scholars are agreed that it is haraam for men to to wear pure silk, because of the hadeeth of 'Ali ibn Abi Taalib (R.A), who said that the Prophet (pbuh) took a piece of silk in his right hand and a piece of gold in his left, held them aloft and said: "These are haraam for the males of my ummah and permitted for the females." (Reported by Ibn Maajah, 2/1189).

    Dieses Lehr- und Arbeitsbuch ermöglicht es, die arabischen Buchstaben einfach und mit viel Freude zu erlernen.
    Alle Buchstaben des arabischen Alphabets werden auf einer eigenen Doppelseite vorgestellt. Zu jedem Buchstaben ist ein Wort abgebildet, das mit diesem Buchstaben beginnt, damit man ihn sich besser einprägen kann. Passend dazu folgen große Bilder, die spannende Suchaufgaben enthalten.
    Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit, dass die Buchstabenformen geübt werden können. Dabei helfen speziellen Linien und Schattierungen zum Ausmalen und Nachfahren. Zusätzliche Wörter, die auch farbig bebildert sind, zeigen den Buchstaben im Wortzusammenhang.
    In den Umschlagseiten befindet sich eine Anlauttabelle, die bei den Übungen behilflich sein kann, und zur Übersicht über das gesamte Alphabet gibt es eine zusätzliche Tabelle aller Buchstaben.
    Die inhaltliche Konzeption und die gestalterische Umsetzung wurden nach pädagogischen Prinzipien entworfen und speziell für den Unterricht mit Kindern entwickelt. So eignet sich dieses Buch vom Vorschulalter angefangen bis zu jedem Alter für all die, die spielerisch das arabische Alphabet erlernen möchten.

    Im April 2012 gestattete der Europäische Gerichtshof für Menschenrechte die Auslieferung von Abu Hamza an dieVereinigten Staaten.[1] Hamza beantragte die Verweisung des Falles an die Große Kammer des Gerichtshofs; am 24. September 2012 lehnte der Gerichtshof diesen Antrag ab. Die britische Innenministerin Theresa Maykündigte am gleichen Tag an, Hamza werde „so schnell wie möglich" ausgeliefert.[11] In der Nacht vom 5. auf den 6. Oktober 2012, kurz nach einer richterlichen Entscheidung des High Court (London), wurde Abu Hamza mit vier weiteren Terrorverdächtigen in die USA ausgeflogen.[12]Insgesamt liegen in den USA elf Anklagepunkte gegen Hamza vor. Die Anklage wirft Hamza vor, 1998 an einer Geiselnahme im Jemen beteiligt gewesen zu sein. Außerdem werden ihm die Einrichtung eines Terrorcamps im US-BundesstaatOregon (1999 und 2000) sowie die Unterstützung terroristischer Anschläge inAfghanistan (1999 bis 2001) zur Last gelegt. Der Prozess begann am 14. April 2014.[13] Am 19. Mai 2014 wurde er vor einem New Yorker Bezirksgericht, von einer Jury, in allen 11 Anklagepunkten für schuldig befunden. Ihm droht nun eine lebenslange Haft

    Der Ruhe des Herzen ist wichtiger als das Glück. Denn glücklich zu sein ist zeitlich begrenzt aber die Ruhe ist immer da auch in schlechten Situationen wie Krankheit oder Katastrophen.

    Erstes Fajr-Gebet seit 1931 in Aya Sofya geplant

    (qi) Wie türkische Medien derzeit melden, plant eine islamische Jugendorganisation heute Samstag zum ersten Mal seit 1931 wieder ein islamisches Pflichtgebet in der einstigen Moschee Aya Sofya durchzuführen. Gemäss deren Präsident Salih Turhan sollen heute Samstag Tausende Gläubige unter Leitung des saudischen Imams Abdullah Basfar das Morgengebet in der symbolträchtigen einstigen Moschee begehen. Uns erreichen derzeit zahlreiche Nachrichten von unabhängiger Seite aus Istanbul, die bestätigen, dass für das Fajr-Gebet morgen mobilisiert werde.

    Nach der Machtübernahme der Kemalisten wurde die Aya Sofya 1931 säkularisiert und 1935 als Museum wiedereröffnet. Seither durfte das geschichtsträchtige Gebäude nicht mehr als Moschee genutzt werden. Die im 6. Jh. als Hauptkirche des byzantinischen Reichs erbaute Kirche wurde nach dem Sieg der Muslime über Konstantinopel 1453 in eine Moschee umgewandelt. Seit Jahren gibt es Bestrebungen die Säkularisierung rückgängig zu machen und sie wieder für den islamischen Kultus zu öffnen.
