    In the Islaamic system, each and every human act can be transformed into an act of worship. However, for that dedication to be acceptable to Allaah, each act must fulfill two basic conditions:
    Firstly, the act must be done sincerely for the pleasure of God and not for the recognition and praise of human beings. In order to facilitate this transformation of mundane deeds into worship, Allaah instructed the last Prophet (pbuh) to prescribe short prayers to be said before even the simplest of acts. The shortest prayer which may be used for any circumstance is: بِسْمِ اللهِ Bismillaah (In the name of Allaah).
    The second condition, is that the act must be in accordance with the prophetic way, called in Arabic the 'Sunnah'. All of the prophets instructed their followers to follow their way because they were guided by God.

    Assad was meeting with the Minister of Foreign Trade

    President Bashar Assad on Thursday said it was important to cement historical ties binding Syria and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), given both countries have undergone all forms of pressure and siege.

    During a meeting with a Korean delegation headed by Minister of Foreign Trade Ri Ryong Nam, the president said both countries have been on the same foot, refusing to bow to pressure, rejecting subordination, sticking to sovereignty and independent decision-making and standing against imperialist plots targeting the interests and capabilities of the peoples in their regions.

    Unterzeichner waren im Präsidentenpalast Carthage der tunesische Präsident Moncef Marzouki und König Mohammed VI von Marokko.
