    (unbedingt lesen und weitereilen)

    Der Verdienst des Fastens ist enorm, wie einige Hadīths, die authentisch (sahīh) sind, bestätigen, dass Allah das Fasten speziell für sich selbst in Anspruch genommen hat und dass Er den Fastenden belohnt und seinen Lohn unbegrenzt vervielfacht, nach einem Hadīth:

    „Bis auf das Fasten, denn das ist für Mich, und Ich werde es entsprechend belohnen." [al-Bukhārī, gemäß der Zählung von fath al-bārī, 1904];

    „Es gibt nichts, was dem Fasten entspricht." [al- Nasā'ī];

    „Das Bittgebet des Fastenden wird nicht zurückgewiesen." [al-Bayhaqī mit einer sahīh Überliefererkette];

    „Der Fastende hat zwei Freuden: Wenn er das Fasten bricht, freut er sich über das Fastbrechen, und wenn er seinem Herrn begegnet, freut er sich über sein Fasten." [Muslim];

    „Das Fasten wird am jüngsten Tag Fürbitte für den Diener halten und wird sagen: „Oh Herr, ich habe ihm tagsüber das Speisen und die Begierde versagt, so gewähre mir Fürbitte für ihn!"" [Ahmad und Hasan al-Haithamī];

    „Der Mundgeruch des Fastenden ist schöner bei Allah als der Duft von Moschus." [Muslim];

    „Das Fasten ist ein Schutz und eine unzugängliche Festung vor dem Feuer." [Ahmad];

    „Wer einen Tag um Allahs Willen fastet, dessen Gesicht wird Allah für diesen einen Tag siebzig Herbste vom Feuer fernhalten." [Muslim];

    „Wer einen Tag fastet, weil er Allahs Gesicht begehrt und an dem Tag stirbt, an dem wird der Eintritt ins Paradies gewährt." [Ahmad];

    „Im Paradies gibt es ein Tor, das al-rayyān heißt. Durch dieses Tor werden die Fastenden eingehen und keiner sonst. Wenn sie eingetre- ten sind, wird es verschlossen und danach wird niemand mehr das Paradies hierdurch betreten." [al-Bukhārī];

    „Es wurde euch ein gesegneter Monat geschenkt, in dem euch vorgeschrieben ist zu fasten. In ihm werden die Tore des Himmels geöffnet, die Tore der Hölle verschlossen und die Teufel gefesselt. In ihm gibt es eine Nacht, die besser ist als tausend Monate."Das Fasten in Ramadan ist ein Pfeiler des Islam. In diesem Monat wurde der Qur'an herabgesandt und in ihm ist eine Nacht, die besser als tausend Monate ist: „Und wenn Ramadan beginnt, werden die Tore des Paradieses geöffnet und die Tore der Hölle verschlossen und die Teufel in Ketten gelegt." [al-Bukhārī];

    „Das Fasten in ihm kommt dem Fasten von zehn Monaten gleich." [Siehe in mus- nad von Ahmad];

    „Wer im Ramadan gläubig und in Erwartung der Belohnung fastet, dem werden alle begangenen Sünden vergeben." [al-Bukhārī];

    „Allah rettet bei jedem Fastbrechen Menschen vor dem Feuer." [Ahmad]
