    Die Moschee ohne Imam und der Obdachlose

    mam Yahya Davis verkleidete sich als Obdachloser und ging zu dieser Moschee mit über 10.000 Mitgliedern, die ihn an diesem Morgen als neuen Gemeindevorbeter vorstellen wollte. Er ging durch die Moschee, der er in naher Zukunft vorstehen sollte, während sich die Moschee langsam für das Freitagsgebet füllte.

    Lediglich drei Leute von den 7.000 - 10.000 Anwesenden grüßten ihn. Er fragte sie nach ein wenig Kleingeld um sich davon etwas zum Essen kaufen zu können, doch niemand in der Moschee gab ihm Kleingeld.

    Er ging zum Gebetsplatz um sich an vorderster Stelle hinzusetzen und wurde kurzerhand gebeten sich doch nach hinten zu setzen. Er grüßte die Leute und wurde angestarrt und mit niederen und verurteilenden Blicken zurückgegrüßt.

    Er setzte sich in den hinteren Teil der Moschee und hörte sich die Ankündigungen und dergleichen an. Danach standen die Alten auf und waren aufgeregt nun den neuen Imam in der Versammlung vorzustellen. „Wir möchten euch Imam Yahya Davis vorstellen...".

    Die Versammlung schaute um sich voller Erwartung und Vorfreude. Der (vermeintlich) obdachlose Mann stand auf und ging nach vorne. Die Freude stockte, alle Augen waren auf ihn gerichtet. Er stieg auf die Kanzel und nahm das Mikrofon von den Alten an sich und pausierte für einen kurzen Moment.

    Danach rezitierte er: „Wahrlich, Allah wird am Tage des Gerichts zu seinem Sklaven sagen: ‚Oh Sohn Adams, Ich war hungrig und du hast mir nicht zu Essen gegeben.' ‚Wie könnte ich dir zu Essen geben, du bist doch der Herr der Welten?' Er wird sagen: ‚Wusstest du denn nicht, dass mein Sklave Soundso der der Sohn von Soundso ist, Hunger fühlte und du hast ihm nicht gespeist. Aber, hättest du ihn gespeist, so hättest das mit mir gefunden (eine Belohnung von mir erhalten). Oh Sohn Adams, ich war durstig und du gabst mir nichts zum Trinken.' Er wird antworten: ‚Wie könnte ich dir etwas zu trinken reichen, du bist doch der Herr der Welten?' Er wird sagen: ‚Wusstest du nicht, dass mein Sklave Soundso, der Sohn von Soundso, Durst verspürte und du gabst ihm nichts zu trinken. Aber, hättest du ihm gegeben, so hättest das mit mir gefunden (eine Belohnung von mir erhalten). Oh Sohn Adams, ich war krank und du besuchtest mich nicht.' Er wird antworten: ‚Wie könnte ich dich besuchen, du bist der Herr der Welten!' Er wird sagen: ‚Wusstest du nicht, dass mein Sklave Soundso, Sohn von Soundso, krank wurde und du hast ihn nicht besucht. Aber, hättest du ihn besucht, so hättest du mich mit ihm gefunden."

    Nach der Rezitation blickte er in die Menge und erzählte ihnen, was er an diesem Morgen erlebt hatte. Viele begannen zu weinen und er sagte dann: „Heute sah ich eine Ansammlung von Menschen, keine Gemeinde Allahs. Die Welt hat genug Menschen, aber nicht genug wahre Muslime, wann werdet ihr euch entscheiden Muslime zu werden? „ Danach übergab er an den Muezzin für die Iqamaa für das Freitagsgebet...

    Eine UN-Schule in Gaza wurde von Israel angegriffen. Israel bestreitet jegliche Verantwortung, da die Schule zu diesem Zeitpunkt "geräumt" war. Anscheinend sind die 16 Zivilisten die ums Leben kamen, keine Menschen.
    Als die Israelis daraufhin erneut angriffen, bot die Hamas eine 24-Stündige Waffenruhe an, die Israel aber ablehnte. Premierminister Netanjahu sagte, Israel werde es nicht zulassen, dass „eine skrupellose Terrororganisation entscheidet, wann es ihr genehm ist, einen Moment Pause zu machen, sich wiederzubewaffnen und dann erneut auf unsere Bürger zu schießen". Die Palästinenser gaben bisher auf eigener Seite 1060 Tote bei den Konflikten an, die Israelis beziffern ihre Verluste auf 43 (allesamt Soldaten und keine Zivilopfer).
