    „Zakat-ul-Fitr" - Selbstläuterung und soziale Mitverantwortung

    Der Islam ist eine vielschichtige und alle Lebensbereiche und Bedürfnisse des Menschen umfassende Religion. Dies kann man besonders im Monat Ramadan beobachten, in dem der Gläubige nicht nur dazu angehalten ist, seiner individuellen Pflicht des Fasten nachzukommen, um sich damit von seinen Sünden zu reinigen und sich Allah (s.w.t.) anzunähern, der Monat Ramadan lehrt uns vor allem auch, ein kollektives Bewusstsein zu entwickeln und unsere soziale Verantwortung für unsere Mitmenschen wahrzunehmen.

    Dieser Aspekt von individueller und gleichzeitig kollektiver Verantwortung zeigt sich am deutlichsten in der Pflicht des „Zakat"- Gebens. In dem Wort „Zakat" ist der Gedanke der persönlichen Reinigung und der Läuterung des Selbst von allem Sündhaften und Schlechten bereits enthalten, gleichzeitig ist „Zakat" aber auch eine Abgabe, die der Gesellschaft zu Gute kommt und diese bereinigt, indem sie besonders den Armen und Mittellosen dabei hilft, ihre Situation zu verbessern.

    Gerade auch zum „Fest des Fastenbrechens" (ʿId-ul-Fitr), das ein Fest der gemeinsamen Freude über die bestandene Fastenzeit ist, soll durch die Pflicht des „Zakat-ul-Fitr" diese Freude geteilt werden mit all jenen, die nicht über die gleichen finanziellen und materiellen Mittel verfügen, wie man selbst. Gleichzeitig bietet „Zakat-ul-Fitr" dem Gläubigen die Möglichkeit, sich von den persönlichen Verfehlungen, die er während des Monats Ramadan begangen hat, zu läutern, um somit das Wohlgefallen Allahs (s.w.t.) zu erlangen.

    In diesem Sinne wünschen wir allen Muslimen weltweit ein gesegnetes Fest und vor allem unseren Brüdern und Schwestern in Gaza, in Syrien und im Irak einen baldigen Frieden und Gottes Barmherzigkeit!
