    Grüße alle Muslime, die du kennst und nicht kennst (indem du sagst: As-Salamu alaykum), denn dies führt zu Liebe und Freundlichkeit zwischen den Menschen. Der Prophet (salla-llahu ´alaihi wasalam) sagte:

    "Bei Allah, in Dessen Händen meine Seele ist, ihr werdet nicht ins Paradies kommen, wenn ihr nicht glaubt (an den Islam), und ihr werdet nicht glauben, solange ihr euch nicht gegenseitig liebt. Darf ich euch erzählen, wie ihr euch gegenseitig liebt? Verbreitet Frieden und Grüße unter euch." (Sahih Muslim, Hadith Nr.2154)

    Wenn jemanden dich begrüßt, dann grüße ihn mit einem besseren Gruß zurück. Allah sagt:

    (Und wenn euch ein Gruß entboten wird, dann grüßt mit einem schöneren (zurück) oder erwidert ihn, Gewiss, Allah ist über alles ein Abrechner.) (Qur´an 4:86)
