    Citizens of Homs, Students of al-Furat University affirm support to national army

    Feb 27, 2014

    Citizens of Deir Ba'albeh and the adjacent neighborhoods in Homs on Thursday took to the streets in support of the Syrian army.

    Participants in the march chanted slogans which assert the national unity of the Syrian people, raising the national flags and showing solidarity with Homeland in the face of the unjust conspiracy against Syria.

    The families of Deir Ba'albeh condemned the crimes perpetrated by the armed terrorist groups and their acts of sabotage, killing and looting in the town , saying that the Syrians have no choice except their unity and loyalty to the country.

    Governor of Homs, Talal Barazi said that the natural life has returned to Homs thanks to the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab army and the people's support to it, affirming that Syria is victorious through the will of the Syrians and determination to come out of the crisis with a Syrian solution.

    Meanwhile, Students of al-Furat University in Dir Ezzor, marched through the campus of the Faculty of Literature in support of the heroic army against the Takfiri and Wahhabi mentality.

    The students affirmed that the Takfiri mentality which tries to efface the features of civilization and humanity through its armed groups will not pass in Syria, adding that the Syrian people are aware of this criminal plot, funded by states like Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey.
