Da sagten sie (die Gefährten): „Bei Allah, es wäre (als Bestrafung) genug gewesen, wenn das Höllenfeuer nur so stark wie das irdische Feuer gewesen wäre, O Allahs Gesandter." Der Prophet erwiderte: „Das Höllenfeuer übertrifft das irdische Feuer an Hitze, indem es andere neunundsechzig Teile einschließt. Die Hitze jedes Teils gleicht der des irdischen Feuers."
