Wenn nun einer von ihnen oder beide bei dir ein hohes Alter erreichen, so sag nicht zu ihnen "Pfui!" und fahre sie nicht an, sondern sag zu ihnen ehrerbietige Worte. Und senke für sie aus Barmherzigkeit den Flügel der Demut und sag: "Mein Herr, erbarme Dich ihrer, wie sie mich aufgezogen haben, als ich klein war."

Next time democracy is presented to you as the utopian of fairness remember stories like this, and there are plenty. This is what democracy is, with no set laws it's only principle is to serve the state and the rich. What's ironic is how abortion clinics are heckled by evangelicals and the politicians support it, but forced sterilisation is apparently ok because it will save money in the long run.
