The way British media covers a Muslim disabled man and a non Muslim disabled famous athlete is starkly different.
Oscar pistorius a South African World renowned athlete on trial for shooting his girlfriend is respected and seen as a hero for his amputee disability whereas Abu Hamzah is portrayed as 'captain hook' even through he is not responsible or accused of killing anyone.
Just a small contrast of islamophobic coverage in the media, Muslims are a fair target for ridiculing even if they are disabled! There would be outcry from people if newspapers started mocking disabled athletes or tv figures EVEN if they were suspected criminals. But sadly these rules do not apply to Muslims, particularly those portrayed as religious 'bad guys'.

Abu Abdullāh (as) sagte: Imām Alī (as) hat das Mittagsgebet ohne Wudu gebetet (unabsichtlich). Danach sagten die (die anwesend waren): "Oh ihr Menschen Amīr Al-Mu'mīnīn hat das Gebet ohne Wudu verrichtet, wiederholt euer Gebet und sagt denen bescheid die nicht anwesend waren."

Syrien - Hilfsgüter liefern , Institutionen Bilden, Wärme Spenden (20.04.2014): Unsere Teams liefern neben den Hilfsgütern auch ein offenes Ohr und wärme für die Bevölkerung - nicht selten kommen dabei Effekte der Dawa raus. Wir bedanken uns im Namen der Bedürftigen bei Allah der uns als Werkzeug einsetze. Wir bedanken uns bei euch ohne die das alles nicht möglich ist. 8 Projekte gleichzeitig in Syrien heisst: Nachhaltige Hilfe, Lebensrettung, Förderung von Bildung & Struktur , Dawa sowie viel Arbeit aber vor allen auch EINS: Grosse Summen Geld. 8 Projekte leben nicht von Luft allein , die Basis muss geschaffen werden und das kontinuirlich - gemeinsam schaffen wir es in shaa Allah - wenn wir so weiter machen oder Bestenfalls einen Zahn zulegen .
