Bis zum heutigen Tag kommt es in den USA immer wieder zu Rassenkrawallen, wie vor kurzem in Ferguson, wo ein 18-jähriger Afroamerikaner von einem weißen Polizisten erschossen wurde. Danach kam es zu wochenlangen Unruhen u. es bestand wieder die Gefahr, dass die Krawalle auf das ganze Land übergreifen. Der von "Islamkritikern" stets der Rückständigkeit beschuldigte Islam hat etwa 1400 Jahre vor der offiziellen Beendigung der Rassentrennung in den USA jede Form des Rassismus entschieden abgelehnt. Im Islam werden keine Menschen oder Nationen wegen ihres Reichtums, ihrer Stärke, ihrer Nationalität oder ihrer Rasse bevorzugt. Alle Menschen sind gleich viel wert, die Menschen werden nach ihrem Glauben und ihrer Frömmigkeit unterschieden. Der Prophet Muhammad (saws) sagte: >>Oh ihr Menschen! Euer Gott ist Einer und euer Stammvater (Adam) ist einer. Ein Araber ist nicht besser als ein Nicht-Araber, und ein Nicht-Araber ist nicht besser als ein Araber, und ein roter (d.h. weiß mit rötlichem Schimmer) Mensch ist nicht besser als ein schwarzer Mensch und ein schwarzer Mensch ist nicht besser als ein roter Mensch, außer in der Frömmigkeit.<< (Musnad Ahmad, Nr. 22978) Im Quran kann man Folgendes über die Gleichheit der Menschen lesen: "Oh ihr Menschen, Wir haben euch aus Mann und Frau erschaffen und zu Völkern und Stämmen gemacht, auf dass ihr einander erkennen möget.
