The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America". Doch nur wenige Zeitungen in Europa haben bisher darüber berichtet. Zwischen 2001 und 2009 gehörten Donors Capital Fund, Richard Mellon Scaife foundations, Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, Newton D. & Rochelle F. Becker foundations and charitable trust, Russell Berrie Foundation, Anchorage Charitable Fund and William Rosenwald Family Fund, Fairbrook Foundation zu den sieben wichtigsten Finanziers rechter anti-islamischer Propaganda in den USA. So ließen sie dem Middle East Forum insgesamt 5.963.246 US-Dollar zukommen. Das Center for Security Policy (CSP) erhielt 4.623.700 US-Dollar. Insgesamt 560.000 US-Dollar ließen die sieben Organisationen dem Investigative Project on Terrorism zukommen. Die Counterterrorism & Security Education and Research Foundation (CTSERF) bekam 4.526.000 US-Dollar. Der Clarion Fund erhielt sogar 18.093.600 US-Dollar. Weitere anti-islamische Nutznießer waren Jihad Watch, das David Horowitz Center und der American Congress for Truth. Das Gesamtvolumen der Spenden belief sich auf 42.575.296 US-Dollar. Der Hauptspender der anti-muslimischen Lobby zwischen 2001 und 2009 war das Donors Capital Fund. Der Vorsitzende vom Donors Capital Fund ist der US-Konservative Adam Meyerson vom Philanthrophy Roundtable. Weitere Personen in der Führungsebene haben wichtige Positionen bei anderen einflussreichen Organisationen. Diese sind: American Enterprise Institute (AEI), Donors Trust, Searle Freedom Trust, Ashbrook Center for Public Affairs, The Action Institute, Institute for Justice, The Fund for American Studies und von der Heritage Foundation. Doch das islamophobe US-Netzwerke ist weitaus größer. Weitere Details sind in der Untersuchung des Center for American Progress einzusehen. Zu den wichtigsten „Desinformations-Experten" der Anti-Islam-Lobby gehören Frank Gaffney at the Center for Security Policy David Yerushalmi von der Society of Americans for National Existence, Daniel Pipes vom Middle East Forum, Robert Spencer von Jihad Watch und Stop Islamization of America und Steven Emerson von dem Investigative Project on Terrorism. Die wichtigsten politischen Vertreter der Lobby sind die Abgeordneten des US-Repräsentantenhauses Peter King, Sue Myrick, Paul Broun, Allen West, Renee Ellmers, Michele Bachmann, berichtet das Center for American Progress im fünften Teil der Untersuchung. Alleine die bloße Existenz von Muslimen in den USA stelle für diese Lobby eine Bedrohung dar. Die Verschwörungstheorie, dass US-Präsident Obama ein „geheimer Moslem" sei ist in diesen Kreisen weit verbreitet. Im vierten Teil der Untersuchung wird auf die Medien-Instrumente der Anti-Islam-Lobby eingegangen. Zu ihnen gehören das „Fox News-Imperium", National Review, die Washington Times, das Front Page Magazine und das Christian Broadcasting Network. Hinzu kommen eine Reihe von Blogs. Die Lobby hat enge Beziehungen zu ihren Partnerorganisationen und Parteien in Europa. So trafen sich die US-Abgeordneten Michele Bachmann, Louie Gohmert, Robert Pittenger und Steve King im Dezember mit der antimuslimischen Aktivistin Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff. Das treffen fand in Wien statt. Es wurden auch gemeinsame Fotos geschossen. Die US-Politikerin sagte Sabaditsch-Wolff, dass die Delegation „stolz" auf sie sei, berichtet die „islamkritische Seite" Gates of Vienna. Die US-Delegation hielt auch ein privates Treffen mit dem FPÖ-Politiker Andreas Karlsböck ab, berichtet die Huffington Post. Auch der niederländische Politiker Geert Wilders ist ein gern gesehener Gastredner bei den antimuslimischen Organisationen und neokonservativen Instituten Amerikas. Denn die Hysterie vor einer „muslimischen Eroberung" ist in den USA genauso weit verbreitet wie in Europa. Die US-Unterstützung kommt hauptsächlich der Neuen Rechten aus bürgerlichen Kreisen zu.
