I'm in no way suggesting that the world is dominated by such sick minded individuals but I think we've all seen an increasingly reoccurring pattern of journalists reporting crimes of a disturbing nature and as far as I am concerned I'm witnessing the correlation between the growing trend of secularization and the removal of Allahswt in life. The man who committed these disgusting crimes is a product of the modern secular world. He proudly exercising his "freedom" to act as his mind and desires dictate to him. He does not believe in the existence of the superior creator, he does not carry any concepts regarding accountability or the hereafter therefore he strongly carries the view that he has one life and he will live it as he chooses to do so. The world has become a dangerous place to be in, purely because people have denied Allahswt and with this denial they have allowed themselves to create chaos and mayhem. There every action motivated by instincts that have no boundaries and regulations. Even though man legislates to a degree but this legislation has no back bone because of where it originates, the mind of another man! Islam was sent to preserve and regulate society. Allahswt addresses the nature and affairs of mankind, ensuring that none is violated. Allahswt promises severe punishment for those of us who disobey Him in any action.
