May Allah reunite them in Jannah. "A few months ago I had a dream of Amr. He was standing in a place that housed expensive things, as though it was a store of valuables. I entered upon him and he hugged me for a long time. After the hug, I saw that there was a guard standing at the entrance of that place. He made me leave, and he made Amr stay. Shortly thereafter, I woke up. "It is Allah Who takes away the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep. He keeps those (souls) for which He has ordained death and sends the rest for a term appointed. Verily, in this are signs for a people who think deeply" (39:42). The morning after that dream, the long hug we shared lingered in my every sense, as though he had really hugged me. But in His wisdom, Allah (swt) sent my soul back to my body and gave me another chance at life, another day to try to attain His pleasure. I know Amr had to stay, but we will all eventually return to the One who created us. This is not our home. This is not our destiny. This world is just the shade of a tree that we are sitting under for a few moments – soon we will get up and continue our journey into the hereafter. It was a strange dream, a beautiful dream… For what else is Jannah except a place like I saw – a place that houses expensive things created for the believers by Allah (swt)? And what greater a price can one pay to receive those things than his or her very life? Our existence is merely an exchange of goods, in a sense. We are seeking to purchase the best and most lasting thing which is Jannah, but we have to pay the price for it. We have to live, not for the benefit of our current selves in a world that values selfish desires, but for our future selves – our selves that need, more than anything else, to be given a home in Paradise, by the Mercy of Allah (swt). Believing in the oneness of God with clarity, prayer, charity, fasting, every moment of wakefulness and remembrance – they are all ventures born out of love and duty to the Creator, and what more are they than payment to purchase the most expensive of goods – Paradise. The Prophet (saw) said: "…Each one of us goes forth in the morning as a vendor for his soul. He either achieves its emancipation or brings it to perdition."" Bitte weiterleiten Montag, 13.Dhul Qa'dah 1435 bzw. 08.09.2014 Dienstag, 14.Dhul Qa'dah 1435 bzw. 09.09.2014 Mittwoch, 15.Dhul Qa'dah 1435 bzw. 10.09.2014 Der Gesandte Allahs (sallalahu alayhi wa salam) sagte mir: "Wenn du irgendein Teil des Monats fastest, dann faste den dreizehnten, vierzehnten und fünfzehnten (Ayyam al-Beed):" [Tirmidhi, 761; Nasaa'i, 2424 –klassifiziert als Hasan bei Tirmidhi und Albani in 'Irwa' al-Ghalil', 947 und Sahih in 'Sahih al-Targhib', 1038] Abu Hurairah (radiyALLAHu 'anhu) berichtete, dass der Prophet (salla ALLAHu 'aleihi wa sallam) sagte: „ALLAH sagte: ‚Alle Taten der Kinder Adams gehören ihnen, außer dem Fasten, das Mir gehört, und Ich werde es belohnen!' Das Fasten ist ein Schutz (gegen die Hölle und gegen das Begehen von Sünden). Wenn einer von euch fastet, soll er geschlechtliche Beziehungen mit seiner Frau vermeiden, und er soll Streit vermeiden. Sollte jemand ihn angreifen oder mit ihm streiten, soll er sagen: ‚Ich faste.' Bei Dem, in Dessen Hand meine Seele ist, der Mundgeruch eines Fastenden ist Allah lieber als der Duft von Moschus." (Sahih Al-Bucharyy) Sahl (radiyALLAHu 'anhu) berichtete, dass der Prophet (salla ALLAHu 'aleihi wa sallam) sagte: „Es gibt im Paradies ein Tor, das Ar- Rayyan heißt, durch das die Fastenden am Tage der Auferstehung eintreten werden, und kein anderer außer ihnen wird hindurch eintreten. (An jenem Tage) wird ausgerufen: „Wo sind die Fastenden?" Da stehen diese dann auf, und sonst kein anderer außer ihnen wird hineintreten. Wenn sie darin sind, wird das Tor geschlossen, und danach tritt keiner mehr durch dieses ein." Kennst du dieses Gefühl, diese Freiheit auf Erden, nicht auf die Äußerlichkeiten reduziert zu werden? Wie schön ist es, nach dem einzig wahren Ziel zu streben, und seine Religion in Demut und voller Andacht auszuleben. Man trägt einen Schleier, der die ʿAwrah bedeckt, damit man nicht die Begierden fremder Männer erweckt. Doch du kannst es nicht verstehen und stellst lauter Fragen. Hat dein Mann dich dazu gezwungen und dich etwa geschlagen? Wieso bedeckst du deine Hände und sogar dein Gesicht? Wieso ist deine Kleidung nicht bunt, sondern schlicht? Wer den Niqāb trägt, hört diese Fragen gewiss. Ist das Leben unter dem Schleier nicht wie im Gefängnis? Doch all diese Fragen kannst du dir wirklich spar'n, denn seid dem ersten Tag habe ich dies freiwillig getan. Während ihr keine Ziele habt und nur pausenlos feiert, genieße ich mein Leben, ich bin gläubig und verschleiert. Eine gläubige Frau würde von diesem Weg nie wieder weichen, sie möchte ins Paradies und Allāhs Wohlgefallen erreichen. Wir werden nicht gezwungen und brauchen keinen Beileid, denn dieses Gefühl ist einmalig, diese einzig wahre Freiheit.
