    Londra'daki camii'ye yeni bir imam gönderilmiş. Adam şehre gitmek için hep aynı otobüse biniyor ve çoğu zaman da aynı söföre rastlıyormuş. Bir gün, bilet alırken şoför yanlışlıkla 20 kuruş fazla vermiş. İmam yanlışlığı oturup da parasını sayınca fark etmiş. Kendi kendine "20 kuruşu geri versem mi şöföre?" diye düşünüyormuş. Ama içinden bir ses diyormuş ki "çok gülünç bir para ve şoförün umurunda değil. Otobüs şirketi çok para kazanıyor zaten... Sadece 20 kuruş onlara bir şey yapmaz." Bu parayı saklayabilirim diye düşünmüş, ALLAH'tan gelen bir hediye gibi.. İnecegi durağa gelince, imam kalkmış ve fikrini değiştirmiş, inmeden önce şoförün yanına gitmiş, 20 kuruşu geri vermiş ve demiş ki: "Paranın üstünü fazla verdiniz." Şöför gülümsemiş ve demiş ki : "Siz caminin yeni imamısınız değil mi? Aslında uzun zamandır sizi caminizde ziyaret etmek istiyordum, islamı öğrenmek için. Bu yüzden bilerek size fazla para verdim. Nasıl tepki vereceğinizi görmek istedim." İnerken imam artık bacaklarını hissetmiyormuş, yere yığılacakmış neredeyse, bir direğe tutunmuş ve kendine gelmeye çalışmış. Gözlerinden yaşlar dökülerek demiş ki: "ALLAH'ım az daha İslamı 20 kuruşa satıyordum!. .."

    Die in den westlichen Staaten lebenden Muslime sind permanent dem Gedankengut, den Ideen und Werten der westlichen Kultur ausgesetzt.
    Besonders in den Schulen und Universitäten werden diese Vorstellungen gelehrt, ohne dass den Muslimen eine islamische Perspektive des Lehrstoffes angeboten wird. Daher ist oft zu beobachten, dass sogar muslimische Akademiker, die diese Ausbildung genossen haben, ein Missverständnis der islamischen Lehre aufzeigen und nicht zwischen islamischen Überzeugungen und westlichen Vorstellungen unterscheiden können. Im Folgenden versuchen wir einige wesentliche Inhalte des westlichen Gedankenfundaments zu analysieren und die islamische Betrachtungsweise diesbezüglich zu erarbeiten.

    Bala man aslama wajhahu lillahi wahuwa muhsinun falahu ajruhu AAinda rabbihi wala khawfun AAalayhim wala hum yahzanoona

    Aber nein! Wer sich Allah völlig hingibt und dabei Gutes tut, dessen Lohn steht für ihn bei seinem Herrn. Und sie soll keine Furcht überkommen, noch sollen sie traurig sein.
